Christopher MacKenzie joined the law office of Allison • MacKenzie in 1994. Since that time, Chris has established his practice primarily in business law, including the areas of contracts, real estate, water law and business entity formation. Chris provides counsel on corporate liability, incorporation laws, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, limited liability companies operating agreements and other issues related to the creation and maintenance of a business. Chris also provides legislative lobbying and monitoring services for numerous clients of Allison • MacKenzie.
A Nevada native, Chris returned to the Silver State upon graduation from the University of Idaho School of Law in 1993. He was admitted to practice law in Nevada later that same year. His professional experience includes the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada and U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit as well as a clerkship to the Honorable Michael E. Fondi, First Judicial District Court. He is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association, First Judicial District Bar Association, American Bar Association and the State Bar of Nevada. His community association includes extensive involvement with Nevada wildlife issues, including two years of service as chairman of the Nevada Wildlife Commission. |
